Color Texture Capture Camera

The best option to capture high resolution color texture capture is to use a dedicated camera for capturing color texture map of the scan object. This package includes a Canon digital SLR camera (including lens), an AC adapter, and a camera to scanner mount.

Desktop FireWire Computer Card

For FlexScan3D users who build their own 3D scanner using FireWire camera(s), a duo bus FireWire computer card is required for operation. A Laptop Express Card Box and a FireWire computer card are both required when using FireWire camera(s) and laptop for 3D scanning at full scan speed.

Calibration Boards

3D3 Solutions offers various sizes of calibration boards for calibrating the 3D scanner for a specific field of view (FOV). FOV refers to the observable area that an optical instrument is able to capture from a specific distance.

Calibration Board Sizes:

  • Standard 15mm square calibration board for standard FOV (30 cm to 60 cm diagonal):
    (Included with the purchase of FlexScan3D Software. High accuracy glass calibration board at this size would be additional cost.)
  • Large 40mm square calibration board for large scanning FOV (80 cm to 160 cm diagonal)
  • High accuracy 10mm square glass calibration board for small scanning volumes (20 cm to 40 cm diagonal)
  • High accuracy 5mm square glass calibration board for small scanning volumes (10 cm to 20 cm diagonal)

The purchase of FlexScan3D Software includes access to the user forum for all support inquiries. 3D3 Solutions will only offer technical support to FlexScan3D users who use supported hardware.

One Year Priority Technical Support
  • Email support: Priority email response rate is answered within 24 business hours of receiving the correspondence.
  • One phone call with remote computer access: Our technical specialist logs into your computer using remote access technology to help you with setting up the 3D scanner or scanning an object.
  • Two phone support calls up to 45 minutes each.

On-Site Training

Training takes place at the 3D3 Solutions head office in Burnaby, Canada or at one of our partner sites.

One Year Priority Maintenance Contract

Receive minor software upgrades to FlexScan3D Software for one year.

Software Upgrades

Upgrade from FlexScan3D Core to Pro with advanced 3D scanning features including photogrammetric data alignment, high resolution color texture capture, multi-head 3D scanning, and deviation analysis.
